Dusmos Two Heads, One Heart

Dusmos is sleek and sinewy, fur black as pitch with faint streaks of ember-red when angered. Each head has distinct eyes — one amber, one silver — that reflect two moods of the same heart. Despite his size, his movements are silent, deliberate, almost mournful. When near Maia, his aura softens; when danger nears, his growl can shake trees.

Backstory

Born in captivity, Dusmos spent years in the blood-sport pits of mortals until Kaion freed him. Instead of fleeing, he freed Kaion in return — chewing through the centaur’s chains before his own. Since then, he has followed only those who prove worthy of trust. When Maia first knelt before him, offering kindness instead of command, he recognised her instantly. In her, the wild found its voice again.
