Backstory

Youngest son of the war-chief Doryx, Kaion was deemed too reckless for leadership. Shamed but unbroken, he fled his mountain home to prove himself. On the road, he endured hunger, injury, and solitude — until the night he freed a two-headed hound from captivity. That act of mercy changed his fate. Now Kaion fights for others the way no one once fought for him. Beneath his bravado lies a yearning to belong — a need Maia’s friendship finally answers.
