Backstory

Youngest son of the war-chief Doryx, Kaion was deemed too reckless for leadership. Shamed but unbroken, he fled his mountain home to prove himself. On the road, he endured hunger, injury, and solitude, until the night he freed a two-headed hound from captivity. That act of mercy changed his fate. Now Kaion fights for others the way no one once fought for him. Beneath his bravado lies a yearning to belong, a need that Maia’s friendship finally answers.
